For our inaugural blog, we thought we would tell you a bit about who we are and what we do.

First of all, BotBrothers.com was founded by two brothers: Brian and Jeff Wood, both ex-college athletes, and both coaches. They both live in Boise, Idaho with their wives and children.

“We both saw a need for some changes,” says Brian. “The economy, social problems and a lack of leadership and growth opportunities were creating an unfavorable landscape for young people.”

“Some of the most influential people in our lives have been coaches and volunteers,” adds Jeff. “We both benefited a great deal from people volunteering their time through many organizations from athletics, to church, school, scouts and so on. The problem is today, that many of these organizations are in jeopardy of losing their funding and in some cases their volunteers and staff.”

“We have seen these programs function from every side and we know that the administrators/coaches of these programs need more time with the kids and less time hassling with fundraising and communication issues. We developed a revolutionary way of removing these obstacles from the coaches/leaders, and we call it “BotBrothers.com,” Brian says. “Our Bots create the ideal situation for coaches and volunteers: An easy to use website that raises money while they are out working with their programs. The best part is they raise more money, keep more of the money they raise, spend way less time accomplishing it and the hassles are all but gone. It’s a no brainer.”

“Our mission is to get every penny possible to these programs and save hours of work each week for those who run these programs. We use efficiency, innovation and technology (such as the smart phone) to get uncommon results. This is how we change the world,” Jeff says.

So what exactly is a BotBrothers Bot?

BotBrothers.com is a revolutionary new website built on a similar platform to social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, in that they give you your own page within the framework of a larger website. The result for social networking sites, is that many people are brought together and are provided social services with minimal hassle.
